There was mist in the air when Metisse wheeled her bike out of the garage and onto the road. Frost covered the grass and the cold nipped her bare fingers, that poked out of her fingerless cycling gloves. Clipping on her helmet she then clicked her feet into place on the pedals of her road bike. She pushed off from the tree she had used to stay upright and was off on the hour and fifteen minute ride to school; the ride that many thought she was insane for doing.
